This restaurant design is a group project created by Sydney Todorovich, Karina Quintero, and I. Following the nature of the restaurant business, the core concept of Texas Rare is to create an intimate and safe environment by utilizing furniture placement, lighting, and furniture selection based on the theory of prospect and refuge.

This project consist of in-person research and hand drafted construction documents. I dove deep into this company's background and designs. Embassy Suites is known for their culture and nature aspects inside their building. This Embassy Suites incorporates outdoor elements inside the lobby such as moss, succulents, tree designs, and even a fish tank. These natural elements help unfamiliar places feel familiar.
